The third afriBIAN conference “Religion and Education in Africa” was supposed to be held at the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar on 6th and 7th June 2023. The conference would have been followed by an alumni workshop on 8th June 2023. An excursion and cultural activity to learn more about Dakar to round up the event would have taken place on the last day, 9th June 2023. Unfortunately, the event had to be cancelled due to political riots in Dakar and all over the country.
